Villa Orange Cabin is set in the Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo district of Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 7.4 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 28 km from Mount Fuji. I booked a stay for 3 people at Villa Orange Cabin for my first trip to Kawaguchiko. At first I had worries about the location, which seems far from the station, but booked anyway for the Mt. Fuji view. Turned out the location isn't that bad, about 5-10 minutes walk from the closest Sightseeing Bus station. There are also free shuttles to/from the villas to Kawaguchiko Station that you can arrange with the receptionist beforehand. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, especially in the evenings. The view was marvellous — though it rained a lot and we couldn't see the mountain, on the last day it was clear and sunny. We woke up to Mt. Fuji in front of our bedrooms and it felt surreal watching the light change against the mountain and sky. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and full of amenities, perhaps even more than the average hotel. I especially love the tatami room and Japanese bath. We were assisted by super helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay. Special thanks to Masumi-san for picking us up from the station and dropping us off there after checking out! ✨ I highly recommend Villa Orange Cabin if you're looking for a peaceful, local experience at Kawaguchiko with your family and friends.

Situated in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi region, Forest Cottage kiki features a balcony. This lodge features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Very attentive hosts and great facilities, everything one could ask for, for a comfortable stay, in our case a family with 3 kids who loved the place. My kid also left behind some sunglasses and the host was very kind to post it to our next hotel free of charge even, exceptional level of service. Highly recommend. Also convenient drive to Fuji Q for when we stayed there.

It was quaint and had beautiful features and comforts across the entire place with the staff being lovely and hospitable at every interaction.

Away from the hustle of kawaguchiko with amazing surroundings ti a rustic style lodge. We walked to the caves and observatory and green line bus picks up outside the restaurant.
