Boasting a garden and views of city, Mesnerhof Chalet is a recently renovated apartment set in Bressanone, 3.5 km from Novacella Abbey. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and modern. It was also very convenient to be able to order bread for the morning. Owner Gerda was most helpful in advising on the best hiking routes and local restaurants. We had a problem with our rental car and Gerda's help was invaluable in resolving the situation. I cannot thank her enough!

Schneiderhof, Chalet, Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof is offering accommodation in Ridanna. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The rural setting including the obligatory cow with bell. The views were beautiful. Our host was very lovely. Providing us with fresh milk, eggs and bread rolls for breakfast. Simply delicious. Our host's recommendations for local cuisine were outstanding. If you like German food you must try the Knappenstube located in an old mine museum.

Situated in Misurina, 9.1 km from Sorapiss Lake, Chalet Alpenrose features accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking, a garden and a bar. EVERYTHING about Chalet Alpenrose, Misurina, and Ida (the host) exceeded our expectations. Simply put, this place was WORTH IT on so many levels. We mixed up our travel dates, and Ida *offered* to adjust our booking for no extra charge. She gave us fantastic recommendations for hikes that were appropriate for three (distinct) hiking levels among our trio of travelers plus great suggestions for food, how to buy stamps, etc. And, we got lucky with Misurina, like wow. It was so tranquil, affordable, and simple to navigate compared to many of the charming-yet-intense places we've traveled through in Italy (we've been to Italy twice now). Truly, Misurina felt like home in the best ways (we're from a mountainous, somewhat rural region in North America), and Ida's hospitality and recommendations played a major role. Beyond what I've already noted, the apartment was GREAT for a couple and additional adult (one older parent) - plenty of room to spread out, truly amazing views, and gorgeous, Scandanavian-esque simple design. Every day, Ida brought us a basket with all sorts of things for breakfast, including fresh eggs we could cook to our taste, fresh meats and cheese, warm bread and croissants, and more. Also, having a hot water kettle and a dishwasher were *so* welcome after almost 2 weeks of travel in hotels. There are also nice, free laundry facilities on-site, and Ida helped us navigate the multi-lingual machines and get the right detergent (we did not initially buy the right stuff on our own!). And, there's a handy drying rack in the room, as well as lots of storage space. Ida also let us have a later check-out time so that we could go on one last, half-day hike into a wilderness area nearby before leaving. I'm probably forgetting things, but the short story is: if you can, skip Cortina and head for Chalet Alpenrose.

Located in Campitello di Fassa and only 16 km from Pordoi Pass, Dolomiti Chalet degli Abeti provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was very beautifully furnished, in the tipical Italian luxury style. We had all the ammenities in the kitchen and the towels and sheets were very nice quality. The parking was available in the house yard and the panificio and supermarket were only a 5 min away walk. The patio in front of the apartment was a nice plus for serving meals outside in the sunshine.

Chalet al Tabià enjoys a location in Bormio, just 50 km from Ortler and 36 km from Benedictine Convent of Saint John. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Amazing apartment. New, spotless, very well presented. Special touch. Great location. Organized parking for us. Friendly, helpful, lovelyl host.

Featuring a spa and wellness centre and views of pool, Apartments, Guest House & historic Chalet Neuhaus is an apartment situated in a historic building in San Sigismondo, 20 km from Novacella Abbey. Really nice apartment! Comfortable beds, everything was clean. A big bonus is spa area- hot tub and sauna. Easy check in and out. A washing machine would be good. Highly recommend, we had a such a great time here! Thank you!

Situated in San Vigilio Di Marebbe, 41 km from Novacella Abbey, CHALET NORA features accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking, a spa and wellness centre and a fitness centre. The apartment we got was a very nice one, designed with very good taste. The hosts, Alex and his mother. were very kind and helped with information about places to visit and practical information. We have found out that Alex is a ski instructor so this could be a very nice place for the ski season. All in all, this is a place to come back and recommend to friends.
