Situated in Misurina, 9.1 km from Sorapiss Lake, Chalet Alpenrose features accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking, a garden and a bar. EVERYTHING about Chalet Alpenrose, Misurina, and Ida (the host) exceeded our expectations. Simply put, this place was WORTH IT on so many levels. We mixed up our travel dates, and Ida *offered* to adjust our booking for no extra charge. She gave us fantastic recommendations for hikes that were appropriate for three (distinct) hiking levels among our trio of travelers plus great suggestions for food, how to buy stamps, etc. And, we got lucky with Misurina, like wow. It was so tranquil, affordable, and simple to navigate compared to many of the charming-yet-intense places we've traveled through in Italy (we've been to Italy twice now). Truly, Misurina felt like home in the best ways (we're from a mountainous, somewhat rural region in North America), and Ida's hospitality and recommendations played a major role. Beyond what I've already noted, the apartment was GREAT for a couple and additional adult (one older parent) - plenty of room to spread out, truly amazing views, and gorgeous, Scandanavian-esque simple design. Every day, Ida brought us a basket with all sorts of things for breakfast, including fresh eggs we could cook to our taste, fresh meats and cheese, warm bread and croissants, and more. Also, having a hot water kettle and a dishwasher were *so* welcome after almost 2 weeks of travel in hotels. There are also nice, free laundry facilities on-site, and Ida helped us navigate the multi-lingual machines and get the right detergent (we did not initially buy the right stuff on our own!). And, there's a handy drying rack in the room, as well as lots of storage space. Ida also let us have a later check-out time so that we could go on one last, half-day hike into a wilderness area nearby before leaving. I'm probably forgetting things, but the short story is: if you can, skip Cortina and head for Chalet Alpenrose.

Located in Campitello di Fassa and only 16 km from Pordoi Pass, Dolomiti Chalet degli Abeti provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful and spacious apartment. Clean, comfortable and modern. I especially liked the shower. Very convenient to have access to a washing machine. Location was great, peaceful and private setting around the chalet with the big trees and garden area, yet within a 5 minute walk to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. Many beautiful hikes within a short drive. It was very easy to access, and we had helpful and quick communication with the staff.

Featuring a spa and wellness centre and views of pool, Apartments, Guest House & historic Chalet Neuhaus is an apartment situated in a historic building in San Sigismondo, 20 km from Novacella Abbey. Clean, new, modern, comfortable.

Set 30 km from Novacella Abbey, Chalet Dolomit offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Everything was perfect, thank you!

Offering barbecue facilities and mountain view, Chalet Piz da Peres is located in Valdaora, 45 km from Novacella Abbey and 49 km from Train Station Bressanone. Everything was perfect. The location the host the room. People were lovely and accommodating.

Fabulous chalet in beautiful surroundings. Quiet, well equipped and spacious room with a very good breakfast daily and access to relaxing wellness services. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

With mountain views, Rifugio de Dòo is situated in San Nicolò di Comelico and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Great location with amazing views, plenty to do nearby and a close enough to drive to points of interest. Amazing breakfast, staff were helpful also. Room was clean and really comfortable

Set 10 km from Pordoi Pass, 23 km from Sella Pass and 28 km from Saslong, Chalet Pradat provides accommodation located in Arabba. This apartment offers free private parking and bicycle parking. Very comfortable apartments, equipped with everything necessary even for a longer stay. Our group of friends rented 2 apartments on the ground floor. Everything was super clean, the terrace is a nice addition and parking space is plenty. The host, Cristina was extremely nice and helpful, and communication went easy. Arabba is a wonderful small town, an ideal base for visiting different parts of the Dolomites.
