So incredibly peaceful, with the sound of the river flowing by. It was the perfect place to relax away from the bustle of city life. It's close enough to all of the features of the Panorama Route, which we spent multiple days exploring. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful, even changing a flat tyre for me and directing me where to get it fixed in town. Overall an amazing and restful stay.

The serene beauty of the place as well as it's location. The place is not overcrowded and has minimal chalets so service is prompt. Self- catering chalets have most of the basic amenities and there is attention to detail. The owners are very friendly and you feel as if you are at home.

Amazing location, scenery and hospitality. We loved Renate’s stories. She is an excellent host with such a passion for her heritage. The food and wine was delicious and is such a confirmation of the ambience that she creates.

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
We enjoyed the river running alongside the Chalet. Chalet was fully equipped and the private braai area and seating made it very enjoyable and memorable.
I loved the gem of a property. I will easily go back again. Beautiful, scenic, super clean, very organised. Cabins are well decked out with everything you need. Great staff. Great braai areas, walks, private waterfall and a swimming pool and Bomo. Also only 3 km from Sabie. You truly could not wish for more.
The super cute cabin is set within beautiful surroundings. Really breathtaking! It’s absolutely delightful to watch the sunset from there. Very close to many tourist attractions in the region, and also close to the towns center where you can find a Spar and different restaurants. Jeff is so nice! We really had a fantastic time! Totally recommend
The location was spectacular, the morning sun rise was stunning! The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. George at reception and Mabel in the restaurant were absolutely fabulous! Such wonderful service.
The chalets were comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. The toboggan run was so much fun- scary, but fun! We will definitely be going back for another stay.
This is a gem: lush vegetation all around, the babble of the river just outside our chalet, comfy bed, well set-up kitchen, great breakfast, and the friendliest owners. We only spent one night there, but have promised ourselves to be back for a longer stay!
Nice chalets in beautiful valley near river. Swimming pool, river walks, friendly hosts, nice breakfast. Self catering. 50km from Phabeni gate of Kruger National park.
