Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They
cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Also, they will take you to the Snow Monkeys and pickup too. We had a breakfast and dinner package (Japanese style) with lots of fish dishes. Not a huge fan of fish!

In the morning, they let me leave my bags at the hotel and provided a lift to the snow monkeys. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment.
