Staff professional, friendly, speak English & breakfast was excellent! 10 min walk from station, First time best to call for the shuttle to know directions. They provide free transport to and from Kamikochi but you have to make sure to be at the right place at the right time. They gave us a free shuttle to Matsumoto as well which was very nice and saved me time and money. The room was nice and clean. The baths were perfect and had very nice views. It felt very 'traditional' and really gave me the onsen experience I was hoping for.

My room was large and comfortable, the hotel staff was kind, welcoming and professional, the breakfast exceptional. 7 minutes walking from the train station, a Family mart less then 5 minutes from the hotel and a lot of restaurants within 10 to 20 minutes walking from the hotel, plus the hotel itself has 2 restaurants, if I am not wrong. They include for their guest a visit to a nearby famous onsen (around 20 minutes with a shuttle).AliceSolo traveler

The location near the railway station, restaurants, tourist attractions and the Art Museum was fantastic. The service, the staff, the rooms were excellent. The availability of the shuttle bus to take us to and from the railway station to the hotel with our luggage was invaluable, especially in the rain. This hotel is incredible value for money.
