Aranka Tempasan is located in the most beautiful village overlooking rice fields and palm trees. The whole property is so lovely, designed with attention to detail, boasting the most beautiful plants and a garden. At dusk, there are dragonflies everywhere. The bungalow was spacious, with a sleek outdoor bathroom and a patio that directly overlooks the rice fields. Watching the sunrise over the rice fields was surreal! The host, Lina, is so kind and she, Gilan and the entire staff made sure our stay was perfect! They arranged a walking tour through the rice fields and a nearby weaver‘s villages for us with a local guide, which was super interesting! The kitchen staff even cooked special vegetarian indonesian dishes for us that weren’t on the menu. The jackfruit curry was divine! We had such an amazing time here and got to take in some of the natural beauty of Lombok. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back on our next Lombok trip!
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Beautiful little cabins nestled between rice fields - really idyllic. Mat and the rest of the crew were very kind and welcoming, cooked good food (even if it took a little bit of time sometimes..!), and Mat took me to visit the various sights around the area while telling me a lot about the area and how he’s come to create Vanilla Garden with his uncle. The showers were nice and warm.
They took extremely good care of us, organised a pick up and drop of driver to/from the harbour/our next stop and also organised a fantastic rice field tour including a waterfall and the mokey forest and lunch in a little hut on the rice fields. The view from the restaurant and our bungalow terrace was super idyllic. On top of that, you support the local community, just by staying there and engaging with the staff. We absolutely loved this place!
Beautiful location with the most friendly and welcoming staff. They treat you like family and help you to learn about the local area. The huts are beautiful in the middle of rice paddies and forest, it's very relaxing. Incredible views when you're eating and the fresh food was amazing, best food we've eaten on our trip.
We did the day tour and loved it because we were able to see so much.
I loved my stay at this place. The cabin was comfortable and the food they had was incredible! Nice views of the nature. The staff was lovely and took me on a beautiful day tour around Tetebatu. I would definitely recommend to stay here.
Amazing views of the rice fields and the mountain. The cabin was really comfortable and with a good bathroom. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend to stay here.
It's a magnificent place, surrounded by rice fields. The accommodation is also perfect, with a swimming pool, a very good restaurant and very unusual hut rooms. The hosting family was so welcoming and lovely. They took me everywhere! I recommend this address for a stay in Tetebatu.
For me this was paradise: a wooden, self contained hut, overlooking rice fields, forest and jungle, away from everything, however the necessities close at hand: great people, great food and great hikes!
Speaking of which: do the 4 hour walk on offer at Satu Linkung! Beautiful hike and my guide was CLASS!
