Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

We had a wonderful 2 night break for my birthday. Jacquie was kind enough to leave me a birthday gift in the hut on our arrival, which was a lovely surprise. She was very attentive and such a fantastic host. The hut had everything we needed, and the views were stunning. We were lucky with the weather, so we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the sun in the seating area all day and had a bbq both nights. The hot tub was fab too! It's a peaceful and relaxing place, I would have been happy to stay there forever, lol 😂.

We had a great stay at Kirkwirral. The location is unique, and the property enjoys all comforts including a clean and modern room, great shower and comfy bed, a sauna, a relaxing hot tub and a nice cabin log where you can chill with a drink or a cup of tea. Gim and Yvonne were very kind and helpful, ensuring that all guests were feeling comfortable in their place. The freshly-prepared breakfast was also excellent and suitable for all kind of preferences, ranging from traditional to vegetarian/vegan, etc. Highly recommend!

The cabin was clean, modern, functional, spacious and the kids loved it. The view was amazing and the hosts were brilliant whenever we had any questions or queries. We will 100% be returning. There is a few things around the local area to do so you can also keep yourself busy.

We liked the hut, which was beautifully set out, and also the scenery we could view. The owners were delightful and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Such a lovely place to spend a nice couple of days away.

Beautiful setting out of the way. Surrounded by nature and flowing brooks with waterfall. So unexpected. The garden and patio area was a delight to chill in and when it got chilly the cabin was perfect. The hot tub and sauna were the icing on the cake. Beautifully presented throughout and above and beyond clean.

The value for money was amazing, especially the buffet breakfast. I was relieved that we could come and go as we pleased, especially as we were going to be out until quite late during our stay. The staff were friendly and offered recommendations on where to eat locally. The room was well-equipped and even had window shutters. It was great having the en-suite bathroom too.
