14 km from Situlpawwa, Camp Leopard - Yala Safari Glamping is a recently renovated property set in Yala and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. Camp leopard gave us the ultimate experience! Great accommodation and a beautiful garden were we had dinner every night next to the camp fire. The full day safari is a must! We saw so much wild life, including a leopard and a bear and at lunch time we had a perfect spot at the river for a picnic and a swim. The host, Marc, went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Yala. He is fun and very knowledgeable about literally every animal and bird in the park. The next day we did a half safari and for the afternoon Marc had organized a safari in Udawalale (with the elephants) with their female ranger Chathu. She is wonderful, fun and knowledgeable and we had such a great time. We will definitely come back next year!

We could go for hours talking about Beach Bungalow Yala and especially its people. babu, Roshan and the team are the best people we met in Srilanka and probably in the world. They are kind, generous, genuine, sweet, smiling all the time. The stay was unforgettable in everything, the place itself is heaven on earth, the food is wonderful, the beach, the dogs, the cats… and again what made everything special was the energy of the people. We will never forget them in our entire life and we are coming again to stay here and to visit them.

My stay at Kulu safari was amazing! The staff are so attentive, a special thanks to Praba…. He made my 2 nights so amazing. The „tents“ (it stretches the reality to call them tents) are so luxurious… fantastic bathrooms Praba made sure that I got my wish to see a leopard. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. The food was the best that I’d had during my while holiday is Sri Lanka - both local as well as western! I can highly recommend a stay

Big Game - Yala by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. Flott sted på grensa til nasjonalparken. Badet er bak et forheng, det er kjøleskap og vannkoker, og en liten benk til bagasje. Det er sitteområde foran teltet.

Offering garden views, Mahoora - Yala by Eco Team is an accommodation set in Yala, 8.5 km from Situlpawwa and 28 km from Tissa Wewa. Beautiful jungle experience. , well maintained and clean. The tents were a great experience and comfortable. Pack light ! The shower also had hot water and the tent had just enough space .

Boasting a private beach area, open-air bath and views of garden, Back of Beyond Dune Camp Yala is set in Yala, a few steps from Palatupana Beach. I agree with the previous reviews. The location is absolutely spectacular. Most definitely the most scenic view we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Its also very private and we had the beach and dunes virtually to ourselves and the other couple that were in the Dune camp. The food and the service was great. The tents are a bit dated, but the beds are very comfortable and all have nets. This is not super luxury but the price is also much less than the super luxury campsites. We would highly recommend this place. They also arranged the safari for us. We have heard horror stories re the jeep drivers at Yala but the driver they arranged was very good and mindful of not disturbing the wildlife.

A recently renovated campground located in Yala, Rivosen Camp Yala Safari features a garden. - If you’re heading to Yala National Park, Rivosen Camp Yala Safari might be up your street. - Located close the entrance of Yala National Park, this accommodation is really off the beaten track. - This is the perfect opportunity to go off-grid and you’ll be well looked after by the very kind local staff. - One example of this was when I didn’t have the right plug to charge my phone and they took it home for a few hours and returned it to me, fully charged. - During my stay, one of the guys brought me to Kirinda and the local beaches. - I was the only tourist and it really felt like a unique adventure. - Manjula and his team prepared local breakfast, lunch and dinner and really did all they could to make me feel welcome. This is one place where you certainly won’t go hungry. - The accommodation at first glance is very rustic and definitely not for everyone but I actually slept like a baby. - They also set up a bonfire and you can sit under the stars at night under the clear skies. - I was up at 4:30am for the Safari, all arranged by Manju. They also prepare a packed lunch for the Safari which was very kind of them. When I got back, breakfast was ready. While their English is limited, all the team made a great effort to chat with me, sharing about their family and lives in Sri Lanka. - This is one experience I know I’ll talk about for years to come and that alone gives this place a 10/10.
