Location was great! Very near to shopping shops and restaurants, only 13mins drive to La Rochelle Centre and 10 mins from/to the Airport. The accommodation is fully equipped with kitchenette if you want to cook your own food, and LIDL grocery shop only 7mins walk or 2 mins drive - it was handy for us as we like to cook our own meal but the campsite has restaurant too with lovely food. My son liked the indoor swimming pool and playground. The reception staff are very friendly and accommodating😁.

It has a cozy cabin and a table out on the deck for good weather, with a clear view of the towers of the port beyond the stern of the boat. Showers and a full toilet are available a block away in the Captainerie which is accessible with a mag card. This is like camping in a small RV in a campground (including having other people living nearby). The street bordering the marina is full of restaurants and is the edge of the old town.

The appartment was very well furnished and came with all the equipment you could wish for or even think about! It was beautifully decorated, spacious and bright, very pleasant to stay in. The location was only a few minutes walk to the shops, convenience store, old port, beach, all activities. We were so happy to leave the car and wander around using the cycles provided, living like locals for a week!
