Located in Al Raka, Arab desert camp provides accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. The luxury tent features family rooms. Such a great experience - a lovely secluded spot in the desert out of sight of other camps. The highlight was the evening around the campfire with cardamom tea, Bedouin music, and learning about the Bedouin who live in this desert. Badr was very helpful and told us loads of interesting things about the desert and the people who lived here. The tents have cold running water from a tank on the top of a sand dune, and there is electricity during the day from solar panels - so charge any devices you need before dinner!

First and foremost thing to mention is the host Said brother is really a very humble and funny person...He will make the trip memorable. His hospitality is best we ever received anywhere else. The location is isolated and awesome. Camp, toilet, dining area is clean.

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. To stay in a Desert Camp sleeping under the stars is a completely outstanding experience. Driving over the dunes, riding camels, sharing the local food with the family that accommodated us felt special indeed. The location of the camp is hidden, aqay from other camps or other people, so one can enjoy complete silence, darkness and inclusion with the nature. Provided breakfast and dinner had a traditional tone which we appreciated highly. Recommended!

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The camp exceeded my expectations. It's situated about 10km far out in the desert and quite far away from other camps. There are only 5 tents at a distance from each other. So this camp is the best if you are looking for a calm and privacy. The surroundings are beautiful! Great spot to watch both for the sunset and sunrise. The host and personnel are very friendly and welcoming. The meals were delicious. The tent is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Even in December it was warm there at night. It was a real pleasure to stay here. Highly recommend!

Dinner is delicious and the breakfast is Omani and it was beautiful. I recommend the activities. The sand trip with the sunset and camel riding. It was a beautiful experience for us. Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We liked to spend our honeymoon with Ahled, speak about life and know more about Oman and the stars :) he made us feel like at home with his kindness, we thank him and Hamood a lot for that. Bed is very comfortable, and privacy is assured if you want to stay with your loved one. Activities can be also booked which are totally worth it, at least for us. Shukran 😍

Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Wow!!! 100% recommend! We, family of 5 (kids 7/4/1), had a magical time! You get picked up in Bidiyya after a drive into the desert you stop for a quick visit at at goat farmers place and you get to feed the lambs. The kids LOVED it. Afterwards you drive up to the camp. So so so fantastic. Great tents. Real stable and comfy beds. Your own toilet/shower cabin in the back of each tent. We rode the camels and just enjoyed the dunes. In the evening a tasty dinner. We are vegans and had a lot of options. We danced and made bread. An experience we will never forget.

Oman desert private camp is situated 10 km in the desert at the top of one of the highest dunes at the area. Its a luxury tent and consist of 2 floors . The location of this camp is absolutely perfect being so secluded. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed everything. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice and quiet experience in the desert. They’ll send you a message the day before arrival with a meeting point (Google Oman Desert Private Camp Station) and time. From there you can either ride with them (15omr for two ways) or follow them in your own 4x4. There’s no wifi in the camp but there is 4g.
