The property is outside the National Park. It’s conveniently located but I had booked two tents for 4 people. During check out, I was told that the price is only for two adults and they charged me 100$ for two people which burnt a hole in my pocket during the trip. I showed them my reservation from Booking.com which said 4 guest but they didn’t allow me to check out without paying the amount. The property only has wifi at the reception so I couldn’t not even contact Booking.com. The tents were very basic so paying 100$ extra for two people was really stressful. During check out I had asked the staff to check the details but they didn’t tell me anything during check in. The property allowed four people to check in when they had reservations only for 2 people, wow!!!!!! I will neither book this property again nor recommend it to anyone else.

The room and facilities were top class and the set up very impressive, including growing their own fruit and veg (we toured the garden). The Entumoto team were excellent and very warm and welcoming and provided great service, including the food which was delicious. We also enjoyed having Alex as our guide for the days that we stayed who shared his knowledge and kept us laughing as we saw all of the big 5!

For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
An incredible location, right next to the Talek gate
The whole team were so friendly and super helpful when we needed
Comfortable tents, reasonable priced way to access the safari plus a pool!
Food was generous and tasty, including a really convenient packed lunch for when our in the park
Organised tour guide and truck Alex really knew how to get us some incredible wildlife experiences
The tents are very comfortable, the hotel organises the game drives during the day with all the meals, you have nothing to worry and just enjoy the incredible wildlife and landscapes.
I had a wonderful stay in this safari camp next to Talek. The meals were almost excellent and very tasty and the tent is almost comfortable, even during a strong rain shower. You can book several tours and safaris around this place. I would highly recommended Greenwood safari camp, if you like it, to be close to the animals.
The staff was super friendly. Service was top notch.Their starter soup was super good and food in general was delicious and they served in big portions
No WiFi problems, hot shower in the tents .The director got us a great tour guide for the game drive.Would definitely be going back !
Perfect location - right next to Ol Kiombo airstrip, the most amazing staff, incredible food, and beautiful tents! Our safari guide, Joab, and the staff namely, Metrine, Masila, Charles and Sallilah (apologies for any typos!!) were very friendly and took a lot of effort. We thank the entire team for their dedication and hard work.
I loved everything about this place… The safari tents are comfortable and had a great view for sunset !! All of the staff were very friendly and really made me feel at home.
The camp itself is beautiful and 2 minutes from the Talek Gate… from there you can enter the beautiful Masai Mara
When I came back to Kenya.. I would definitely stay here again
The manager arranged contact for me so I could go Tanzania with a very good guide
We had an amazing stay at Greenwood. Price quality is excellent and I really would not have changed it for a 600 euro a night lodge! Magdy is a super nice person, gave us a free tent upgrade and helped us with everything (safari, balloon flight, rides to Nairobi). The tents are good and the whole camping looks really nice, you can relax in the hammocks, take a swim in the pool and go for a small walk to the river (where you also have amazing sunsets).
