It's peaceful and relaxing, has a lovely sitting area with hammocks, and it's absolutely spotless. Just a short drive to the hot springs further up the road, and just a 30 min drive from Takayama. Our hosts were super friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend Cocomock!

The onsen facilities are private and very pretty.Perfect to rest our bodies. We enjoyed spotting wildlife on a walk close by. The dinner was one of the best ones we had during our stay in Japan, delicious. The host was very kind and let us store our bags upon early arrival.

Super friendly staff and welcoming. They provide breakfast, they have free sake for guests. The common area is nice and welcoming. The rooms themselves are modern, clean and sleek. Comfortable, spacey and more western style which is great. Netflix included, clean bathroom with Hot Showers. Great value for money, in fact after staying there, my wife and I were surprised how cheap the price was for what we got.

Room was very spacious and clean, nice hot shower and free sake tasting was a plus! On-site onsen was small but nice as were the provided amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect for those who want to visit Hirayu Onsen or Kamikoji. The hammocks in the lounge are relaxing.
