Located close to the Jiufen Old Street and bus stop to Ruifang and Taipei.

晶晶輕旅民宿 is situated in Ruifang, 27 km from Raohe Street Night Market, 27 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, and 29 km from Taipei 101. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

There´s everything you can hope for in every corner of the house.

Located in Tamsui, 500 metres from MRT Tamsui Station, 淡水遇見民宿Meet Homestay provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Super close to the Tamsui market. Good base for Beito district if you want to avoid the pricey hotels, was using the metro alot which requires lots of walking but don't mind doing so.

It does everything it says on paper - Just don't get too excited about the view on the river. Other than that, it's everything you pay for - amenities smelled really good, very spacious room. Make sure to go check out the Ruifang Food Court across the bridge, for some delicious local foods (Must try: The pepper meat bun)

Situated 35 km from Raohe Street Night Market and 35 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, 村造 House of Stone 2-6人包棟九份金瓜石 in Nei-chiu-fen features air-conditioned accommodation with views of the... This was one amazing stay, and the highlight of our entire trip! The place is huge compared to many in Japan/Taiwan, with 3-4 different areas for a group to sit and talk. There is beautiful art throughout the home and the views are gorgeous. We loved it!
