When we started early in the morning to hike to the summit of Piton de la Fournaise she made us a breakfast to go with a homemade banana chocolate cake which was mouthwatering. The room was cleaned daily. Alice also let us checkin really early without any trouble at all. Her husband and the two small daughters are very friendly.
