This was an exploratory trip for me. I wanted to find a place to hide once in a while to write, while being able to walk to places to eat, have a bit of fun, and get a ride to town once in a while. This place was perfect. The owner was kind and helpful. The price was quite reasonable.

Villa Kulintang provides modern, comfortable, elegant, and chic accommodation in the middle of a jungle but next door to a busy port, providing the best of both worlds: a quiet place to comfortably relax but near enough the city center to actively engage in city life, tours, etc. We felt safe, island hopping in boats captained by local fishermen (Roy, Ronel) who understand the waters, and swimming with whale sharks with local whisperer (Omar - strict!, but hey, you are dealing with wild life), and dining in style with Chris our chef and tour guide, Sylvia, and Gemma.

Everything about my experience at the Ohana Hometel was amazing! The staff is the nicest most accommodating and sincere. The rooms were clean, fresh and with full amenities. Everything was working efficiently! The breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Absolutely delicious every morning. Cooked fresh and with so much variety.

Set in Donsol, 45 km from Cagsawa Ruins and 44 km from Ibalong Centrum for Recreation, Josephine"s Home Donsol Sorsogon offers a garden and air conditioning. Location - walk 5min to bus stop to Legazpi, to food & restaurants. However, not much to see in area- have to take tuktuk to beach. Staff, Uncle Edwin was very nice and obliging. Good value for money.

ABIZA Homestay is set in Pañge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The homestay has a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are offered in the homestay. Nice and cozy. Room was clean and ac was cold.

Set within 46 km of Cagsawa Ruins and 45 km of Ibalong Centrum for Recreation, Villa Peralta Inn offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Donsol. Very nice place with the best traditional (with also Mexican food) restaurant next to it. Located just a bit outside the centre, not too far from the whale shark tourist centre. Cherry on top is the kindness of the hosts: Roberto and Zarlyn are super nice and helped us out in more than one occasion. Best hosts ever! 😊
