Tapu is the most kind and funny host you can ask for. He does everything to make you feel at home the moment you jump on his boat. I loved waking up every morning, watching the sun rise over the mountains of Bora and drinking my coffee listening to the sound of the waves and nothing else. I enjoyed spending my time with the people at the hostel, the vibe was very chilled and relaxed and we had a lovely group of people staying who I became friends with. Tapu spent a lot of time with us talking, laughing, joking around and teaching us about the Polynesia culture with cultural activities (I still think my headband out of coconut leaves was the best 😋). He even took me and another guest on a little boat adventure on my last day. You have a shuttle going to the main island everyday, you can go hiking, snorkeling, and explore during the day and come back to your peaceful motu in the evening, such a great combo! You’re sharing the same beach as the most luxurious hotels in Bora. And although you’re not staying at any of them (why would you when you can experience the real Bora Bora?), you will definitely feel richer - in experience and memories! To sum up, I had so much fun!!!! Thank you Tapu for everything. I can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional host - rare to come across such a tourism professional like Fred. we had a short stay on the island, but he was full of surprises, you have to check it out for yourselves. The property has a cozy room, good utensila and equipment, incl. a washing machine, good wifi, good aircon, private parking spot, nice tour options and good local advice. And not to forget the meals - his breakfast and dinner were prepared and served in a professional, tasteful manner, it is a must to try (Fred is a pro cook btw). We also loved the private swimming pool. The guest bungalow is properly separated, gives enough privacy. Fred has a very useful and efficient alarm system - his dogs. If you dont rent a car, Fred offers the pickup from the port of the airport and has some vehicles for rent as well. The property is easy to find and is situated in a calm neighbourhood. He also offers some complimentary water to the guests, nice gesture.

Had all the amenities we were looking for. Host went out of his way to help us, and to provide transportation, as needed. The bikes were ideal for getting around, were included in the price. When we needed a lift (to and from the navette with our luggage, and to and from a departure point of an excursion, the host made all the arrangements, at no cost to us.
