The owner is awesome. She gave us lots of tips abouth how to move around , where to go and what are the best places to eat around. The location is perfect . Very close to the town . In front of the property there is a nice beach that you could use. Also the location is on the road to Bluff Beach and Boca Del Drago / Estrella and the buseses are crossing in front of the hotel. So if you don't want to use local taxis they are very convenient . The property was well beyond our expectations . The bed is 5 star hotel level. Very big , enough for a family with a small kid sleeping with you ( that was very important for us ) . Also they could arrange laundry service for you if the case .

Set in Big Creek, 50 metres from Y Griega and 1.1 km from Istmito, Sol y Sombra offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Richard (and his dog Sombra :D ) were super friendly, helped us with everything and gave us great suggestions for tours, restaurants, beaches, … Rooms are very spacious and clean plus one can also get free towels for the pool and beach! Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth the money as there is a great variety and Richard even makes pancakes or eggs.

Objekat La Luciernaga Big Creek se nalazi u gradu Bocas Town, u regiji Isla Colon, na 15 min. loved the location! much nicer than staying in town and much more wildlife and plants! the room was lovely and bed very comfy. we didnt want to leave! our hosts were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. there was a big storm during the night and when we left the hotel there was a tiny caiman outside- it was fantastic! we also got to see sloths, a family of monkeys and toucans. we would love to stay here again!

Manon and Pierre were absolutely great hosts. They have created a beautiful oasis to enjoy nature, surrounded by jungle and close to really nice beaches. The breakfast was tasty every time as well as the dinner! They offer a vegetarian alternative each time which was perfect for us. It is served at the best spot as well. On a deck with an amazing view! The cabin was perfect and clean: beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed! The noises of the jungle were the cherry on the cake. We could also use kayaks from them for free so we were able to explore the surroundings in a very cool way: a must do! This review is long overdue but allows us to reminisce about our stay!
