Located in Santa Cruz Tecamac, Hostal Casa Amarilla Tecámac is a recently renovated accommodation, 15 km from Pyramids of Teotihuacan and 31 km from Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Hostal is very clean and well maintained. I had my flight delayed and the owner waited me until 2 am and helped me settled down. Next day in her lunch break she drove me around town to get my things done. I was very appreciative to all her extra help. So I rated 10/10.

The location was quiet and tranquil, the room was exceptional and the staff were fantastic and helpful. We travelled with a baby and she was very comfortable.

The setting—up a quiet hill near the center of town, with a courtyard full of greenery—was beautiful, and the rooms were wonderful. More importantly, the owner and his family were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. He gave us advice on our travel plans, told us about the town and its history, offered us coffee in the morning, held our bags for a few hours after checkout, and even found a restaurant for us when we arrived late in the evening. You need to ring the bell at the gate of the hotel to be let in or out, but they always arrived within moments. Overall we felt extremely comfortable and cared-for, and would gladly return.
