This is the perfect spot to unwind before and after a safari adventure. The location is stunning, with the serene Debarawewa Lake right in front, offering a chance to spot plenty of water birds and even a few crocodiles from a safe distance. The resort staff was incredibly helpful - they arranged a jeep to share for the safari, making it much more affordable. The shared safari option also gave us the chance to connect with other travelers, which was a lovely bonus. The rooms were comfortable, and I loved the cozy communal area in front of them. It’s a great space to relax, exchange safari stories, and chat with fellow adventurers about travel experiences. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're planning a trip to Yala, I highly recommend this place for its comfort, location, and the overall experience it offers. I’d happily stay here again!

Finch Tangalle está en Tangalle, a 7 min a pie de Playa de Marakkalagoda y a 1 km de Playa Roja. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a unjardín con piscina al aire libre. Firrst rate facilities only a couple of hundred rupees to many beaches and the town. The room boy was amazing They even laid on a birthday breakfast for myself and my wife at no chatge.

Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa está en Tangalle y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. El alojamiento es perfecto para descansar. La habitación muy nueva y limpia, además de tener unas vistas preciosas al jardín. Está a 10 min de la playa caminando y a unos 10 min en tuktuk del pueblo. Ademas tienen muy buena conexión wifi. El personal del hotel es súper amable y la comida y desayuno muy ricos. Muy recomendado para personas que busquen desconectar

Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala se encuentra en Parque nacional Yala y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. El mejor sitio en el que hemos estado hasta ahora en Sri Lanka! Teníamos dudas de cómo nos sentiríamos en las tiendas pero fue una estancia maravillosa. La amabilidad, sinceridad, educación y disposición del personal nos pareció maravillosa, es de agradecer encontrarse a personas como ell@s. La cena estupenda, la organización para el safari, para el transporte para nuestra siguiente hotel...todo genial. Recomendamos quedarse al menos dos noches, a nosotros nos ha quedado mucha pena de haber estado sólo una.

We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. The staff and service is absolutely outstanding. The room was clean and newly renovated with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was tasty. There is a small private beach right outside where you can watch the sunset or just walk. The pool was refreshing and we loved the cute dog that lives at the hotel. Overall perfect for a few days in Tangalle.

O2 Villas Yala tiene vistas al mar y se encuentra en Parque nacional Yala. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

MENAKA HOMESTAY tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Tangalle. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, terraza y barbacoa. EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

Halcyon Mawella se encuentra en Tangalle, a pocos pasos de Playa de Mawella, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y restaurante. We stayed for 4 nights and would certainly return! Overall a fantastic hotel. Hotel setting is idyllic with amazing pool to lounge around and only 10 metres from the beach - but privacy maintained by palm trees which also provide some much needed shade! Free bodyboards to borrow should you fancy some water-sports which we used everyday :) Only 10 rooms, so very personal (and fantastic) service and small hotel feel which was fab. Felt very secure. Hotel bar located upstairs above the main restaurant is a nice spot for pre dinner cocktails - which were great. Downstairs, right next to the pool is the restaurant which serves fantastic food - the menu is rotated every day for lunch and dinner, so plenty of variety if staying for a few days. Breakfast also very good, and the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka! Everything is cooked fresh to order, but this does mean some meals took a while to arrive particularly at breakfast (our only recommended area of improvement for the hotel)! We intended to do a few day trips, but the hotel was so good we ended up only venturing out for one evening. We hope to return!
