This is the perfect spot to unwind before and after a safari adventure. The location is stunning, with the serene Debarawewa Lake right in front, offering a chance to spot plenty of water birds and even a few crocodiles from a safe distance. The resort staff was incredibly helpful - they arranged a jeep to share for the safari, making it much more affordable. The shared safari option also gave us the chance to connect with other travelers, which was a lovely bonus. The rooms were comfortable, and I loved the cozy communal area in front of them. It’s a great space to relax, exchange safari stories, and chat with fellow adventurers about travel experiences. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're planning a trip to Yala, I highly recommend this place for its comfort, location, and the overall experience it offers. I’d happily stay here again!

Firrst rate facilities only a couple of hundred rupees to many beaches and the town. The room boy was amazing They even laid on a birthday breakfast for myself and my wife at no chatge.

Everything! it was the nicest and most clean room we stayed in during the whole duration of our trip and the family was very very nice - the pancakes in the morning are amazing!

We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. The staff and service is absolutely outstanding. The room was clean and newly renovated with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was tasty. There is a small private beach right outside where you can watch the sunset or just walk. The pool was refreshing and we loved the cute dog that lives at the hotel. Overall perfect for a few days in Tangalle.

This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

MENAKA HOMESTAY ligger i Tangalle og har restaurant, døgnåben reception, bar, have, picnicområde og grill. EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

We stayed for 4 nights and would certainly return! Overall a fantastic hotel. Hotel setting is idyllic with amazing pool to lounge around and only 10 metres from the beach - but privacy maintained by palm trees which also provide some much needed shade! Free bodyboards to borrow should you fancy some water-sports which we used everyday :) Only 10 rooms, so very personal (and fantastic) service and small hotel feel which was fab. Felt very secure. Hotel bar located upstairs above the main restaurant is a nice spot for pre dinner cocktails - which were great. Downstairs, right next to the pool is the restaurant which serves fantastic food - the menu is rotated every day for lunch and dinner, so plenty of variety if staying for a few days. Breakfast also very good, and the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka! Everything is cooked fresh to order, but this does mean some meals took a while to arrive particularly at breakfast (our only recommended area of improvement for the hotel)! We intended to do a few day trips, but the hotel was so good we ended up only venturing out for one evening. We hope to return!

Tanzanite Place ligger i Tangalle, tæt på Goyambokka Strand og 12 minutters gang fra Unakuruwa Strand. Der er terrasse med udsigt til haven, privat strandområde og have. Really nice accomodation - so far, i regret i did not take my laptop and work remotly from this place. Clean, comfortable, huge balcony and the host is really nice and helpful.
