Set in Sendai, 17 km from Shiogama Shrine, Hotel GrandBach Sendai features views of the city. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel GrandBach Sendai. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Sendai Station, making it very easy to access. The room was impressively spacious, providing plenty of comfort during my stay. The service was excellent, with staff being friendly and attentive to all my needs. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Sendai, and I highly recommend it!

会津七日町inn is situated in Aizuwakamatsu, 1.5 km from Aizuwakamatsu Station and 4.2 km from Mount Iimori. The hostel whose staff is fluent in english answered all my inquiries and even helped to find some informations I asked. It's really a determinant factor to stay there

The location is convenient as it is attached to Aomori train station (which was very helpful as I did not get wet in the rain/snow!), with nearby department store, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, aesthetically it was beautiful, spacious and a delightful place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help me (including via a translator app when needed). The breakfast was amazing, one of my favourite I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel amenities such as the onsen and the lounge with free evening beverages were a treat. If you get a chance to book dinner (need 24 hours notice) it will not disappoint!

Set in Hirosaki, 45 km from Sannai-Maruyama site, HOTEL ZEN-Adult Only offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great clean hotel, a bit out of city center. Massively spacious for its price. Easy to communicate with the hotel through WhatsApp. On-site food and drinks available. The staff was beyond exceptional, offered car rides into the city both on the evening of the festival and after checking out. Super friendly and great English both from the manager and car drivers.

Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Located just 14 km from Konakano Station, 津軽三味線と民謡 ゲストハウス繭子の宿 features accommodation in Hachinohe with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. I had wonderful and amazing experience while I was staying in the hotel. The accommodation was comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. And it was fantastic that the staff prepare the Shamisen, singing and dancing show for us. Their performance was perfect. I was pleased that I learnt about the history of the traditional instruments.

Situated within 2.2 km of Morioka Station and 100 metres of House of Morioka Town, Tototo Morioka features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Morioka. Loved this place! The owner is friendly and welcoming, and the bedroom was really comfortable and cosy :).

Boasting a private open-air bath, GAMP HOUSE 江戸農家古民家ゲストハウス Old Folk Farm GuestHouse is set in Iwaki. Offering free private parking, the 2-star guest house is 18 km from Aquamarine Fukushima. This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

Minpaku Suzuki is set in Hiraizumi, less than 1 km from Motsuji Temple, 2.5 km from Chuson-ji Temple, and 5.5 km from Takkoku Seikou-ji Temple. We had a wonderful stay at Minpaku Suzuki! The hosts were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. There is no bathroom but the nearby onsen is adequate. The breakfast was delicious, way above our expectations. Highly recommended!
