Located in Awaji, 41 km from Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, KAMOME SLOW HOTEL the COMPACT provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a bar. True to its slow name — love the setup! They have the bonfire which is great to chill beside and sit around for a slow evening. I love the breakfast and you have to set it up by yourself. The staffs were very friendly and helpful despite the language differences.

Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland is situated in Toyooka, within 11 km of Toyooka City History Museum and 24 km of Ito Kiyonaga Museum. This hotel is exceptional. Brilliant room and very helpful staff. Good laundry facility. Really close to the Onsen and hotel guests get a 100 yen reduction in cost for entry. A good selection of snacks also. May have been the first Kiwi to visit!

Providing ski-to-door access, a terrace and free WiFi, Rokko Outdoor Station FOTON is a recently renovated guest house 6.3 km from Mount Rokko and 7.8 km from Mount Maya. The staff were some of the nicest people I have meet in Japan. So welcoming to have us in there home and we loved spending time with them all 10/10. Also the house was so fun and had beautiful art in the stair well.

民泊 桔梗 is situated in Awaji. The air-conditioned accommodation is 50 km from Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The private house was very spacious and cozy. The owner was nice and friendly and recommended us some good restaurants. The newly built bathroom was clean. It might be difficult to access if you don’t have a car. A convenience store, a public bath and some good restaurants locate five mins away from the place. Good place for the price.

Offering free WiFi, private parking and a private beach area, the recently renovated property of Cozy and Cheap Kinosaki Hideya Non Japanese, offers rooms in Toyooka, 700 metres from North Disaster... The owners are so warm and welcoming! And they have te cutest cat. The bed was really comfortable, with heating (AC) and a warmwaterbottle.

Newly renovated in 2022, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- blends the history and tradition of Japan with the modernity. Guests are welcomed by a luxurious new lobby, decorated in earthen wall. Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and excellent staff. Had delicious dinner and breakfast. The private baths are also fantastic. The hotel provides kimonos and yukatas to change into, and has a very soothing reading area.
