Ideally located in the centre of Takayama, Relax Hotel Takayama Station offers buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Breakfast was amazing-fluffy pancakes & fruits and yakitori are a must. Location is great. Train station, bus center, and visitor center are located directly across the street. Just 2 minute walk. Laundry is a bonus!

Featuring mountain views and a garden, 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou offers accommodation attractively situated in Nakatsugawa, within a short distance of Toson Memorial Museum, Magome Wakihonjin... Very cute guesthouse! We stayed in the “principal’s office” which was a very large private room. Bathroom facilities are shared but very clean and no difficulty with access. Lounge space was nice to hang out in. Staff were excellent- they helped us book a dinner reservation ahead of time which was greatly appreciated. About a 6-7 minute walk away from the main tourist area of Magome.

Takayama'da, Takayama İstasyonu'na 1,6 km mesafede yer alan Iroriyado Hidaya adlı yakın zamanda yenilenmiş 4 yıldızlı tesiste bahçe, ortak salon ve özel otopark bulunur. -staff was so kind and welcoming. Spent time with us to explain nearby areas and restaurants, spent time with my daughters to try on kimonos. Everyone was so kind and amazing. -Room was awesome and spacious. We had 2 children (age 11 and 8), 2 adults. We enjoyed the room and space. -Bedding (futon, comforter, pillows) was high end quality. Excellent comfort and clean. -Yukata robes in the room for each person to wear to onsen and in the house -Japanese breakfast was delicious ! We had 2 breakfasts, the menu was different each morning. -Hotel is not in the downtown area but we liked that. We enjoyed being away in a quiet area and the walk was not bad. Taking taxi was also easy and cost about 1,000 yen each way. -Onsen was very nice, and private. Super clean and so enjoyable to relax after a full day out. We stayed for two nights and while it cost more than other hotels, it was well worth it. Everything was superb. The selection of beautiful kimonos were amazing; I ended up buying 2 (one for my daughter, one for me). We can’t wait to go back and visit the staff, and experience the quietness of Takayama.

時のホテル is situated in Toki, within 44 km of Nagoya Station and 45 km of Aeon Mall Atsuta. The property is around 41 km from Oasis 21, 42 km from Toyota Stadium and 43 km from Nagoya Castle. Everything was great. I'd absolutely stay here again and again. The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. The room was clean, breakfast was great, the sauna and hot springs (2 large bath tubs) were amazing as well. 5 Stars.

Situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, 民宿 和屋 offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. The futon bed was a nice experience and very comfortable. The host was very helpful, and drove us to the apartment. Located a few minutes walk from the shrine.
