We had a wonderful experience, location is great, the hotel has beautiful design. We stayed in a doubleroom. The bed was comfortable, room had complimentary drinks, I loved the bathroom amenities . Highly recommended for a stay!

Set in Kanazawa and within 1.4 km of Kanazawa Castle, Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi has a shared lounge, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Very nice new small hotel. The room was decent size with Japanese standards. Very nice design, a lot of light wood. Good location, walking distance to the station( if you can roll your bag), walking distance to the samurai district. Nice small restaurants around. The staff was very welcoming, they offer free udon in the evening, all drinks in the room are free including beer. They gave us a small goody bag with sweets at the checkout. We would definitely stay there again.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Fuji Gran Villa - TOKI - is set in Fujiyoshida, 500 metres from Fuji-Q Highland and 5.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. After completing the check-in process, they personally escorted us to the villa and explained how to use the in-room facilities. What I loved most was that each villa comes with its own private rooftop terrace, where you can comfortably enjoy meals while admiring the stunning view of Mount Fuji. Dinner options are available here at a reasonable price, and you can even enjoy the meal in your room. The villa also has basic kitchenware, so preparing a simple meal yourself is definitely possible.

Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. Gorgeous room/apartment with everything we needed. Lovely team working there too. We wished we had have booked to stay longer in Kanazawa, what a gem of a city.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind, offered great suggestions and were always there to help us. We enjoyed the Japanese room and the view of the lake and Mt. Fuji, in particular, we loved the chair setting by the window. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious (and different every day). There's a shuttle service that we used after check-out to get to the train station and they lend us umbrellas when the rain was coming.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. A new family-run hostel which was very comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The beds were big and had enough privacy (I liked the tatami style used even in the dorm rooms). Staff were very friendly and accomodating (shoutout to Yudai-san for being such a big help, and the kids for being so polite and cute). Great that they had free bicycles to borrow, especially useful within the beautiful Kawaguchiko area. Free coffee and tea was a bonus. Lounge provides a good place to meet so many other different travellers.

Featuring mountain views and a garden, 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou offers accommodation attractively situated in Nakatsugawa, within a short distance of Toson Memorial Museum, Magome Wakihonjin... It was so cool to stay in a real school. Great location too.
