Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The really good breakfast and the fact that the friendly and welcoming host and hostess could adapt it to a vegan diet. The rooms were up to five-star hotel level, very tastefully fitted out, as were the fittings in the dining area.

I had made a mistake in our booking dates and the staff kindly organised alternative accommodation for the first night in the nearby George Hotel. Many many thanks to Sharon and Denise (I hope I remembered the names correctly) for everything you did to help us out and make our stay fantastic. Highly highly recommended!

Due to a great number of bookings, Greg and Barbara decided to upgrade our accomation and lodged us not in a single room, but in the apartment overlooking the village main square. If you stay more than one night, go for it, you won't be deluded! Breakfast is not included, but believe me, you want to add it to your staying. Greg and Barbara will spoil you with and abundat, original, freshly prepared variety of foods, both cooked and cold that will surprise you. Sincerely one of the best and highest quality breakfasts in my life. And surely one of the best accomodation as a whole!

Entire place has been remodeled from ground up. Beautiful decor, everything was beyond our expectations. Kids played outside on the basketball court, trampoline and the views when sun sets were gorgeous!

The Pipers Rest is set in Doolin, off the main road, just a 2-minute walk from two of Doolin"s traditional Irish music pubs.

Jacquie greeted us outside of the regular check-in times and was super welcoming and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. We are fans of sustainability and really like that The Pipers Rest e.g. tries to minimize food waste and hands out oder forms for breakfast the night before. We were really happy to also see vegetarian options on the menu! The food was very tasty, as well. (Just a suggestion for the future: eliminate the paper forms and maybe implement a QR code-based ordering system to make it even more sustainable). The room was great and had very comfy beds. Plus, the location is perfect - our main goal was to see The Cliffs of Moher. We wish we stayed a little bit longer to soak in everything Doolin has to offer!!! :)
