We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

1.2 km from Air Manis Beach, The view padang, Amazing view, food, drink, sleep, transport, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry is a recently renovated property situated in Padang and features air-conditioned... It is all about location, location, location. The view is exceptional. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Nice bed. Robert was a great host and super helpful. The homestay is still relatively new, but he's been in the area for years and knows it very well. Took a one day tour with him and a few other guests. It was fantastic. Things, culture, people, and places I never would have found otherwise. Wish I could have stayed longer.

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Everything was perfect! The villa, the food, the people in the villa are so amazing. I had a lot of fun talking with them, they are super friendly! Especially Tyson is really a fun person with great personality! The room was awesome too! The bed is big with mosquito net, very comfortable. I stayed in the central of Bukit Lawang at first, and changed my stay to here, and I even extend my stay because here is so nice!! The environment around here is amazing, very quiet place so you definitely can sleep at night with quiet environment, not like in Bukit Lawang there are big sound of music and the big sound of river depends when and where you stay at night. I 100% recommend you to stay here!!

Situated in Iboih, 200 metres from Iboih Beach, Santi Garden Bungalows features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. The bungalow was great. Clean, lots of room and the location is close to Olala restaurant and the village itself. Robi the manager is very helpful and always checking to make sure all is good. Staff were friendly. The snorkelling right of the dock (which is Olala’s but they were fine with Santi using) was fantastic most days. Definitely would return here

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of city, Lala Hostel is located in Banda Aceh, 4.8 km from Harapan Bangsa Stadium. This hostel exceeded all my expectations. So clean and comfortable, air condition in every room and free water in the kitchen. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Banda Aceh.
