Enly is a great host and is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are set back off the street keeping the street noise to a minimum. The location is perfect, located half-way between the center and the lake. The rooms are large and bright and I found the bed quite comfortable. Free parking is also great and very rare to find in San Pedro. Another plus is that there's a great ramen restaurant accros the street ran by a Japanese expat.

Casa Ahau is a wonderful oasis at the top of San Marcos. It is well equipped with a great communal space and kitchen, large roof terrace with yoga mats, fantastic bathroom facilities, comfortable beds and yummy breakfast. Coming back at night feels like you are stepping into a fairy wonderland. Daniel was also extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, providing us with recommendations on where to visit, how to get around, activities to do (yoga, meditation and sauna) and where to eat during our stay. We can’t recommend Casa Ahau enough and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Daniel and Eric!!

He got us arranged with a tour and shuttle. He also offered coffee for free. There is only 3 rooms total so we never had problems with the shared bathroom even tho there’s only 1 shower.

Spectacular experience, I would recommend to have a more wide menu but the facilities and the staff were incredible. The view is unbelievable, and the rooms are very comfy.

It's also right by some hiking trails along the surrounding mountains. The small kitchen area is equipped with all the basic necessities. Nice spot for a writing retreat.
