Located in San Pedro La Laguna, Habitacion privada Lamat I features a recently renovated accommodation 24 km from Volcano Atitlan. I sayed there for a week while studying Spanish. Enly is a great host and is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are set back off the street keeping the street noise to a minimum. The location is perfect, located half-way between the center and the lake. The rooms are large and bright and I found the bed quite comfortable. Free parking is also great and very rare to find in San Pedro. Another plus is that there's a great ramen restaurant accros the street ran by a Japanese expat.

Located in San Juan La Laguna, Mundo Abu San Juan La laguna offers beachfront accommodation 26 km from Volcano Atitlan and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area, a fitness centre... The best location and people you could ask for. On the lake, beautiful kayaking/paddleboarding. Absolutely a hidden gem. Staff are incredible helping organise tours anything you need. Dorm room is basic but very clean and has everything you need including lockers

Situated in San Juan La Laguna and with Volcano Atitlan reachable within 25 km, Chirris Hostel features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Andrea, the owner, was exceptionally attentive, helpful and conscientious. In addition to being an amazingly cozy and inviting atmosphere, she also explained her larger vision of reducing environmental impact (particularly on trash and water usage) and training local women as employees at a fair wage. Could not give a stronger recommendation for this hostel!

Casa AHAU in San Marcos La Laguna provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The best hostel we have stayed in! Casa Ahau is a wonderful oasis at the top of San Marcos. It is well equipped with a great communal space and kitchen, large roof terrace with yoga mats, fantastic bathroom facilities, comfortable beds and yummy breakfast. Coming back at night feels like you are stepping into a fairy wonderland. Daniel was also extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, providing us with recommendations on where to visit, how to get around, activities to do (yoga, meditation and sauna) and where to eat during our stay. We can’t recommend Casa Ahau enough and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Daniel and Eric!!

Set 24 km from Volcano Atitlan, Una Noche Con Mical offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. The host is super welcoming, friendly and helpful. He got us arranged with a tour and shuttle. He also offered coffee for free. There is only 3 rooms total so we never had problems with the shared bathroom even tho there’s only 1 shower.

Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments are located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna and boast excellent volcano views. Free Wi-Fi and kayak use are provided at this property. The studio was so nice! Great value for money

Villa Santa Catarina features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Panajachel. Offering a bar, the property is located within 42 km of Volcano Atitlan. Spectacular experience, I would recommend to have a more wide menu but the facilities and the staff were incredible. The view is unbelievable, and the rooms are very comfy.

Situated in San Juan La Laguna in the Solola region, Nómade has a patio and garden views. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Located at the periphery of the town, the studio is just a 5 minute walk from San Juan's busy touristic center, but much calmer and quieter. It's also right by some hiking trails along the surrounding mountains. The small kitchen area is equipped with all the basic necessities. Nice spot for a writing retreat.
