Darwin"s Townhouse provides accommodation a 5-minute walk from the centre of Shewsbury. Shrewsbury Train Station is a 12-minute walk away. Everything was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and whole house was beautifully appointed and decorated. Particularly appreciated the gesture of a birthday card and bottle of fizz in my room on arrival when accommodation discovered it was my birthday.

This was a lovely quiet cottage close to the river with a number of restaurants. It was a shame that we only had a brief overnight stay so did not get a chance to explore or enjoy this very pretty cottage as much as we would have liked. It was very well appointed & I would stay here again.

We were met by a lovely, friendly lady who showed us around the house and was very knowledgeable about the local area. The house was beautiful, warm and cosy - and the bed was perfectly comfy. The parking was about a 2 minute walk away.
