A gorgeous property in Saint Jean perfect for your Camino start. The staff were delightful and provided a luggage drop off service prior to check in and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was superb for the price and our lovely hostess even packaged up the bread, ham and cheese into sandwiches for our trip over the Pyrenees.

Room was fabulous. Seldom do you have a separate toilet! Very well laid out. Plenty of space, very modern decor. Adjustable reading light. Quiet. Friendly staff (we don’t speak French). Excellent restaurant. Easy parking. Park in front of hotel, shift your bags and then drive about 300m down to parking.

Situated in Ascain and only 6.6 km from Saint Jean de Luz Train Station, Chambre cosy entre mer et montagne features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts were some of the best people I’ve met in a long while. I have never felt so at home with strangers before. I am extremely thankful. The place was so clean and tidy. The furnishings were tasteful. Thank you!
