The location was fantastic overlooking the Cathedral. The place had the charm of the area as very old but well maintained. The cellar was amazing. The room had a cracking bath which after weeks motor biking around was well appreciated. The breakfast was the best I’ve had after two weeks in numerous hotels/guest houses.

Providing free WiFi, parking on-site and a garden, the recently renovated property of Domaine de Mende Brenoux Suites & SPA, offers rooms in Mende, 38 km from Sabot Golf Course and 48 km from Domaine... Unusual location next to an aérodrome (not at all busy though) at the top of a very high hill. Despite the aérodrome it was quiet and peaceful with the odd interruption of the sound of landing and taking off but that didn’t bother us - added interest to our stay. The room was lovely, extremely clean and comfortable with a great decked area outside and easy parking in an open public car park right outside the property. The bed was blissfully comfortable and the little kitchenette was very useful including a tiny oven and hob, toaster, kettle and well equipped, especially as there is no restaurant on site although breakfast is available. It is fairly isolated but the town of Mende is a drive down the hill. The spa is available at extra costs and offers a great range of treatments but we didn’t get to have any due to only a one night stay.

Boasting a sauna, Le Manoir du Rigouneix au coeur de la nature, calme-sauna-dîner maison is situated in Saint-Angel. A lovely house from 1800, restored inside very gently. Our room was big and the bathroom delicate. A lovely garden, nice and "untouched" in a good way.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Le Jardin du Dolaizon is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Le Puy en Velay, 700 metres from Centre Culturel et de Congrès Pierre Cardinal. Pleasant and accommodating hosts, nicely furnished spacious, clean and comfortable room (including bathroom). Good breakfast. The possibility to park in the garden is great. Good location, the guesthouse is located a few steps from the center

Located 600 metres from Vichy Train Station, 1.6 km from Célestins Spring and 1.4 km from Palais des Congrès Opéra Vichy, MAISON LE BEAULIEU offers accommodation set in Vichy. We stayed here at the end of September. A beautifully restored home and very lovingly decorated with everything you need. The bedroom is s great size and the bed is very comfortable, with lovely pillows and bedding. The room has a lot of natural light and is very quiet. The aircon was great and quiet. There was a large TV with netflix available. A wardrobe and bedside tables. Lots of power points. The bathroom is large and has a big shower with a rain and hand held shower. Lots of hot water. Nice fluffy towels. The fixtures and fittings are very good quality and it is all very new. Frederic and Malika are wonderful hosts and made sure that we had a list of restaurants and instructions about walking into the city center, which is not far. We drove to Vichy and were able to park onsite, a real bonus and the parking is secure. The breakfast is superb! Everything was fresh and lots of homemade products, including chocolate brownies, straight from the oven. Freshly made coffee, juice, pastries, bread, toasted brioche, homemade cereal and freshly chopped individual bowls of fruit salad, yogurt, jams and much more. Frederic and Malika obviously love what they are doing and it shows.

Featuring garden views, La Tour Noble offers accommodation with patio, around 13 km from La Grande Halle. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We hugely enjoyed our stay in this place. Julien speaks English very well and we had a nice chat at breakfast. He recommended us where to eat in the evening (and made the reservation for us). The breakfast was very tasty. And our room was very pleasant, with beautiful bedsheets, all extremely clean. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.
