However, we came across CHATEAU DU BOULAY MORIN, an old French-style chateau just a few kilometers from the highway, listed on Booking.com. The chateau is located in a serene rural area, tucked behind a long stone fence and vintage-style gates. We arrived late without prior notification, and with our internet data exhausted, we were anxious about whether the staff would still be available to check us in. To our relief, the gates swung open at the press of a button, welcoming us into a silent and magical retreat. The property is nestled within roughly 40 hectares of well-maintained forest and 3 hectares of beautifully manicured gardens. The quiet ambiance, paired with the charm of the chateau's exterior, immediately gave us a sense of calm and tranquility. We were warmly greeted by a receptionist who, despite our late arrival, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He even managed to arrange some food for us, knowing that we had missed our dinner. The interior of the chateau exudes a cozy, if somewhat outdated, charm, reminding more of a family home than a typical hotel, adding to the unique experience. In the morning, we learned that the property is managed by the young children of the owners. The elder, a former lawyer, shared the captivating history of the chateau and their family as they served us a delicious breakfast. The personal touch and stories made us feel like we were guests in a family home rather than customers in a hotel, giving our stay an intimate and friendly atmosphere. This quaint chateau may not boast the glitz and glamour of a typical 4 or 5-star hotel, but it offers a uniquely charming experience that leaves an indelible mark on your memory.

Set in Vieux-Manoir and only 24 km from Gare de Rouen Rive Droite, Studio à la campagne, 5 minutes de l'autoroute offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very easy to find with the aid of Google, a wonderful countryside location, very tranquil with the sheep from a neighboring farm playing in the adjacent field. Wonderful sunset. I only wish I had had longer to spend to explore the area. Very close to the motorway and less than 30 minutes to Rouen.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Villa Eliane - parking privé is a recently renovated guest house set in Étretat, 1 km from Etretat Beach. Amazing!!! Best hotel stay. It's bed and breakfast style and loved the conversation over breakfast with other guests. The host made us eggs and fresh croissants and coffee. She was soooo lovely!!! Wonderful energy and I'll definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything! :) Perfect city-life escape!

Well kept and large studio apartment perfect for our needs which was to get to CDG for an early afternoon flight. Sarah (owner/host) was very accommodating and communicative allowing for seamless entry and exit.
