Located in Göttingen, 6.1 km from University of Göttingen, Hotel Beckmann provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Breakfast buffet was great with cold meats, cheeses, fresh juices and cereals. They also had eggs and bacon available. Really good choice of breads available too. Location was good but away from the town centre but that meant it was nice an quiet hotel. We stayed just after Christmas so in winter. Woudl be good to come back in summer as the restaurant has a far reaching view.

Loved the location, close to the shops and restaurants, beautiful buildings, great size room, breakfast was fabulous and the pool in the cave under the hotel wonderful, and the owners and the staff were so welcoming, the hotel was exceptionally clean, free parking, what else could you want or need Loved the fact that although mainly used by Germans and Dutch people for maybe one/two nights and we as an English non German speaking couple they seemed to be amazed we were staying for 11 nights, but as we were visiting places we had last visited in the very early 80's, it was the right place for us to be based, they were great with us and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and most spoke far better English than we did German, the ones that didn't speak English, we all managed to make sure we understood each other I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, anyone visiting Hameln would be silly not to stay there

A recently renovated apartment located in Stadtoldendorf, Haus Wehner features a garden. The property features garden and city views, and is 37 km from Hameln Central Station. Markus, the host, met us and showed us into the apartment. He had told us his English was very poor but it was excellent and he could explain everything to us. The apartment was lovely and very tastefully decorated. It had all we needed. Markus told us where we could find an evening meal and this was only about 10 minutes walk away. As we had been cycling all day we did not want to go far. Lidl was a 5 minute walk away to buy food for breakfast time. Coffee and tea facilities were provided. Very good value for money.
