The resort is placed im the middle of creeks, nature. The gym has everything you can wish for. The food is divine. The beach is nice, we took long walks there. The boat transfers is about a 5 minute ride

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a terrace, Embassy House is situated in Puerto Jiménez. The host was so welcoming and nice! The room was very clean and the house was amazing, it was a great place to stay. He kindly let me do laundry after all of my clothes got wet in the rain/humidity.

This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Very clean with modern furnishings. Erick was very welcoming and helpful. Thought the open window grating might lead to insect problems, but it was surprisingly bug-free. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail.
