The breakfasts were top notch and so so delicious that we we looked forward to them each morning. Can't say enough about how great this place was. No detail was too small for them to ignore and help out with. Would go back again 10 out of 10 times.

Lucky Bug is a fantastic place to stay, we had a great time there. Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.

The rooms at this spa offer colourful-traditional décor, a wardrobe and wooden floors. The tiled bathroom is private and has a shower and free toiletries. There is a terrace overlooking the forest. The staff was very friendly. We love the Feo the dog and Pepa de parrot. The location is very quiet. You feel one with nature. Drive from/to Arenal is not long. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Definitely would love to come back and have a longer stay.

We had wonderful stay at LakeGardens, property is so relaxing, set in big garden with many birds around. Chalets are nice and well equipped, adequate for two couples. And Lake Arenal area is sooo lovely!

The prettiest ranch i have seen in my entire life. The family is devoted and welcoming. The horses are necessary to get up in the mountains, and the views are out of this world. Really amazing experience. I would 100% recommend as a comfortable retreat. The sunset's are out of this world beautiful.

Beautiful property with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano. The hosts, Wendy and Roger, were so kind and accommodating. There are nearby restaurants and a small markets as well as activities. The Glamping yurts had a bed, futon couch, sink, fridge, coffee and tea, a/c, electrical and a shower. It was nicer than several hotels I’ve stayed in! And waking up to the volcano view every morning was breathtaking.

There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs.

Ian was so welcoming to his lovely property that was a lush and well tended garden with a variety of beautiful plants and trees located with a nice lake view. He also cares for a goat, Philomena, and other birds and small animals. The upstairs apartment where we stayed was comfortable, spacious, well stocked. Some wonderful little extras, fresh flowers sprinkled throughout, wine and a large sitting porch with great breezes to view toucans and other cool birds! We so enjoyed Ian’s tour around his property and learned so much. Definitely a highlight of our 3 week trip.
