The girls working on the reception were so nice they talk better English than me. Always prepared to help, even the cleaning lady was so nice and polite. I felt really good and comfortable in this accommodation. The toilets are awesome.

In the Huangpu district of Shanghai, close to People"s Square, River House Near The Peoples Square And The Bund features a terrace and a washing machine. Everything was perfect during our stay. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to Nanjing Road, and also close to the Waitan Bund and Yuyuan, which made it convenient for taking a taxi. The room was clean, warm, and had just the right amenities. The hotel’s view was amazing, and we enjoyed it every night. Vivien, the host, was very welcoming and kind. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Shanghai.

While the external looks like old Shanghai style, the facility in room is modern and smart. Color mode is white and black, but makes you feel very warm. The staff are all super friendly, especially a girl named Vicky. The bar on top floor is also great, with good view and chilled atmosphere.

Really good professional hotel. The rooms were bigger than I thought. The staff is professional. It is true many of them don't speak English that well but it's really no problem for checking in and doing the basics. One of the manager who speaks English very well exceeded our expectations. He was super attentive and helped us make some restaurant bookings. I wish I remembered his name
