What a treat to stay in this renovated windmill. A truly unique experience on a ridge top in a line of about 20 windmills in various states of repair and ruin. It was warm inside and comfortable and fresh bread and breakfast was delivered in the morning. The area was well lit at night. We really enjoyed our night here. Waking up on top of the ridge was a treat. Would stay again

Exceptional service from the hosts. Newly rebuilt after a fire, clean, nice and comfortable rooms and beds. We enjoyed the pool, which also had an practical outdoor shower. The hosts are experiences sommeliers. The wine tasting of the local produced wines, with tasty cheese and ham, where the hosts shared their knowledge, was an unforgettable experience. An amazing breakfast with freshly made coffee, orange juice, bread, cake and lemon lemonade was served in the hosts combined living room. The stay was the highlight of our Portugal holiday. There are a cosy taverna and grocery store, with local products available, post office with ATM, in the small village within 15 minutes walk from the vinery.
