Raven Hotel by Greene King Inns, hotel in Hook

With cosy log fires, a real ale pub and traditional restaurant, The Raven has refurbished rooms each featuring a flat-screen TV.

The bar staff were lovely The receptionist had left at 8pm on NYE. She called me to advise. I was checked in by a bar staff member who was very helpful. Breakfast was good, but I feel it could have been included in the room price.

Good communication regarding accessing the property and I was met by the kind and friendly owner. Lovely accommodation, spacious and very clean room and bathroom. Plenty of places to put clothes and belongings. I didn't have breakfast but there was a good selection of cereals, toast and fruit etc. I could have helped myself to whatever I wanted. In a lovely location, a little bit out of the way but I was easily able to get a taxi for where I needed to go

Absolutely lovely grounds, well preserved and got this on a special deal so the price was very reasonable for the quality of this location. Staff were very friendly and the room was spotless and comfortable. The Indian cuisine is probably the best I’ve had so far and the service was fantastic
