Lovely lodge room around the side of the main house. Seems to be one of several accommodations but did not see the inside of any of the others. Spacious single room with attached small kitchen. Two double beds. Lovely corner bath, good shower, plenty of hot water on the cold winter day. Thoughtful kitchens supplies and filtered water. Lovely small garden and I understand there is a walk to the reservoir, a bit around it and back, but we didn't do the walk. Used the lodge for two nights while visiting relatives Christmas Day.

Having a whole small house in the centre of town was fantastic. A good sized living room, a well equipped kitchen downstairs, and a great sized bedroom, and a bathroom with both a bath tub and separate large shower upstairs. The house was warm and cosy, with some nice added extras (milk and biscuits in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee options). It was a great location for the centre of town - everything was easily accessible, and it was tucked away, so noise was minimal.

The Yurt is a recently renovated luxury tent in Colchester, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

They left out some milk in the fridge and eggs in the yurt to cook with The bed was huge, comfortable and there were loads of blankets around. The yurt was cozy and heated well. There were multiple heaters to use. Good value for money, very secluded, the yurt wasn't near anything or anyone else. We had problems opening the door ( weren't turning the lock the right way) owner was very lovely and responsive, answered the phone and was going to come over to help us but we managed to get in at the last minute. Everything was very clean. The yurt owners father was very nice for a chat in the morning. There were lots of facilities and areas to sit inside and outside the yurt

The Barge was very well presented, tidy, homely and has everything you'd need. There was complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Also an array of bathroom essentials if you had forgotten your own. There was also treats left for dogs that were welcomed to be on board. A very cosy and warm unique environment. It was in a great location for our visit. Communication was great, letting us know all the booking details and when the accommodation was available to access. Remembering we had a couple of sets of steps to master was entertaining, especially when we had our nervous pooch with us, who doesn't have a set of sea legs, but he does have a great harness with a handle where we could hoist him up to carry him on and off board. He soon got use to this, and we're relieved he's a small dog. Will definitely be booking again in the future as it was a lovely chilled few days away

We loved everything. From the decor to the snacks we was left. Decor very very nice. We loved it and wanted to live there it was so modern, colourful, bright and airy. Will definitely be taking some decor inspo from this. The snacks and razors etc. was a very nice touch.
