The location was a bit off, and it takes about 40 min till the city center, but at the same time that's also a good thing because the hotel has that small town vibe, breakfast was great and the staff were just amazing

Wonderful, clean, and comfortable apartment. Great location close to everything we wanted to do/see. Also close to public transit and grocery stores, which was convenient! The hosts were very timely with answering any questions and have the apartment set up very nice. Next time we come to Scotland this will be the first place we look at availability!

Location is wonderful. Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, in the quiet village of Aberdour, and just 5 minutes walk to the station with train direct to Edinburgh. We loved the seaview from the the living room and terrace. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, and very comfortable to stay in.
Spacious accommodation in a gorgeous location. We loved the sea views! The house seemed to have been freshly decorated and has been fitted out quite stylishly, with all the basics provided and a lovely welcome pack. The furniture was comfy - the sofas and chairs as well as the beds - and the house was well equipped. Great to have two loos too! The owners were very pleasant to deal with and we really enjoyed our stay.
Cottage was lovely and had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Great location and brilliant for the train station to explore the area. The town is very picturesque with excellent beaches. Anne left loads of information and we sourced some great sea food from the local fishmonger. Both beaches are very clean and beautiful. Silver sands has great facillities for changing and food options.
Great house with good amenities for all the family, great location and lovely hosts
Ideal for base for visiting the surrounding countryside or public transport to Edinburgh
A really fine "traditional" (in the best sense of the Word) hotel. Unpretentious, with super-friendly and helpful staff, a pleasant and quiet bar, excellent and tasty food (especially the fish dishes). Location was ideal for the Fife Coastal Path - 5 mins walk from the beach, 3 mins from Aberdour station on the coastal train line, and the Dunfermline-Leven coastal bus stops just opposite the hotel.
