Super nice hosts, good food, nice indoor and outdoor sitting areas outside the rooms, and shockingly inexpensive food when buying a meal outside of the included dinner and breakfast.

We arrived later than expected, so we’re unable to partake of the pleasant lounge area they had which seemed to encourage visitors to fellowship. The rooms were quite nice, the dining area and breakfast good. The setting was beautiful. The staff extremely helpful.

Great value. We had a two-level, two-bed room with dinner and breakfast for about $38. It was very clean and spacious. Nice common area with a stove to dry clothes and tea and banana bread and cookies. Good food. They were really helpful when we realized one of the dogs hanging around was actually owned by the owner of the hostel we stayed at in Sigchos. They took care of him until his owner showed up.

The hosts make the place. Without them there's nothing much to it, but they are so sweet and treat you like family. They sat with us for dinner, even though they didn't eat, just to chat.
My diet is restricted and they lovingly catered my meals according to what I could and could not eat.

I came to visit for 2 nights with my friend Sally and our guide. The hospitality of Sra Lolita and her brother was fantastic. It felt like home, tucked away in these spectacular mountain surroundings. The home-cooked meals were all delicious, and so were the Pisco sours.

Lovely cozy room with its own fire meant I was lovely and warm as the cold night winds blew. Great location by the crater rim. Staff were very helpful.
Staff in particular were amazing .. really appreciated having a stove heater to warm the room as cold day , food was good quality and prices very reasonable and what a location directly opposite the Crater lookout
Nice hostel, very close to Laguna Quilotoa. As we made a last minute reservation we had to wait a little bit for somebody to open. Breakfast and dinner were good, but not as good as in the other hostels on the Quilotoa loop hike the family was super nice and we even got a little gift when leaving. Also it was very clean.
Excellent location. We opted to include breakfast and dinner. The food was really good and heathy.
The staff was very nice and brought a heater into our room.
The location is perfect - across the street from the entrance to the path to the laguna. I was told there was a guard who would watch over our cars at night. It was very clean and I appreciated the ease of having breakfast and dinner included in the price.
The location is great, within walking distance of Qulitoa. Price-performance ratio is reasonable. Rooms are simple but adequate.
You could have the staff heat the oven for you, which we gratefully accepted ;) We found the dinner surprisingly good (we even got something vegan). Of course, you shouldn't expect too much, but it's fine (and cheap!) for one night.
