The view from vista verde is impressive! We were always looking forward to be back at 5 pm to admire the sunsets. Who might be the owner was very helpful, giving us tips of where to go and what to see around. We totally recommend to go there. The hike from the main town (minca) is short (30 mins) and nice, but can be a bit harsh so try to avoid it when you have luggage. In the rooms there are not mosquitos, but in the common areas is coming to find them, so bring your strongest repellent, you will need it.

This was our best accommodation in all of Colombia. The view and the calm of the place are just stunning. Stay at least two days to benefit to the fullest. The team there made it a really special experience. They were super inclusive and welcoming. Don't miss the bird watching, the guide is a real local coffee farmer who grew up with the birds. We also enjoyed the great and affordable food (local but veggi friendly), the fresh and drinkable mountain water, and the great coffee breaks with amazing sweets. This place really made our travel special!

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. Thanks for a fantastic few days!

Morgan is a very good communicator providing excellent detail not only on property logistics but also on local hospitality and activities - we followed what he recommended and were not disappointed. I had some work commitments so the wi-fi and desk setup were perfect to support digital nomads.

This place is nothing short of amazing. This is exactly the kind of place we were looking for to relax and enjoy a few days in the jungle of Minca. The host, Theo, who lives just a few lower bends down the mountain road is extremely accommodating and he makes sure everything is perfect. The view from the property is spectacular, the bed extremely comfortable and there's nothing like waking up to the musical sound of the birds. Access to the remote property is an adventure as we used the moto taxis to get there from Minca. We used the recommended 4x4 taxi to get back to Santa Marta, for a more relaxed ride :). This was definitely the highlight of our week in Colombia and we would not hesitate one second to book this place again.

    Loved the location, the pool, the restaurant, the hummingbird feeders, everything. The breakfast was simple but very good. The women working reception were so helpful and lovely. After staying in cheap hostels for several weeks this felt luxurious but still affordable. I extended my stay 3 times.

    I loved everything about this place. It's cozy, very clean, confortable, calm and perfect for relaxation and a good night of sleep. The location is excellent, right in the center but in a calm street. Laura is a great host, very helpful with everything. You can tell she works really hard to keep the place spotless and the clients happy.
