This property exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, kind, as well as respectful and gave you your space to enjoy the property. Spending Christmas at the location was wonderful. The views from the terrace are magnificent, could have slept outside the entire time. The breakfast was small but delicious. You do not feel the boat moving at all, and the staff allowed me to leave my luggage with them before and after check-in/check out. The main lounge area of the boat was homey and comfortable

The location was just outside of the city ring, probably walkable in warm weather, but in the cold wet winter, we opted to take an Uber into the city center. Quick10-20 min depending on how much traffic. Loved the extra charging cords in the room!

The location was perfect, in a quiet pleasant street yet a very short walk to restaurants, bars and shops and within easy reach of the beach.

Boutique B&B Dolce Due is set in Assendelft, 20 km from A'DAM Lookout, 21 km from Amsterdam Central Station, as well as 22 km from Anne Frank House. We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

Offering free bikes and garden view, Beemster b&b is situated in Zuidoostbeemster, 21 km from Rembrandt House and 21 km from Artis Zoo. The breakfast was simply amazing (especially the apple pancakes) and there is plenty of room. The place is really easy to find and we felt so secure with the gated home for privacy. The bed was comfortable and we liked that the streaming services were already in place for our use. It was worth the drive to stay at this beautiful home.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Bed & Breakfast [H]eerlijk! is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in De Kwakel, 20 km from Keukenhof. We have just returned from a two night stay at [H]eerlijk! And we could not fault the accommodation or the hosts. Lex & Corianne were helpful and friendly, even before we arrived; answering any queries or requests via message. They were very accommodating on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Our room was superb- the fittings and furnishings were of a high standard and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The whole property was tastefully decorated. It had great history and overlooked canals and fields. Breakfast was great, with meats, cheeses, eggs, breads and fruit, which we all enjoyed very much. The hosts took the time to chat with us each day and let us visit their various animals. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting south Holland.
