Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to get a shuttle to/from the station that suited our timetable and also a ride to the doorway. The food was beautiful and delicious, we always looked forward to our meals. Great view of Mt Fuji and the location was very close to some great photo spots so you could roll out of bed to capture the sunrise over the mountain. Would highly recommend this place!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Everything, from the front desk, staff, facilities in general, the upgrade room to president room and so on, also I would like to highlight here the special attention from Veronica, who took care the services in our breakfast and dinner, she was amazing!! Very polite and courteous with us.

7.8 km from Lake Kawaguchi, グランファーム富士河口湖 Granfarm Fujikawaguchiko is a recently renovated property situated in Fujikawaguchiko and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Perfect view with very very clean environment, spacious room with amazing view of Mount Fuji!!!

A recently renovated property, 富士吉田たまきや is set in Fujiyoshida near Fuji-Q Highland, Oshijuutaku Togawa and Osano’s House. The house is very clean. There are two toilets, one at level 1 another at level 2. The bathing facility is at level 1. At first , we were shocked to see the stairs… but we just left the luggage at level 1 and do our laundry everything at level 1. It even comes with heater at the laundry area. The washing machine and dryer are working really good. The mattress and blankets are so comfortable in this winter. The location is so convenient , McDonald with a great view of Mount Fuji is just opp down the road. Daiso and onsen are just next door.

VISION GLAMPING Resort & Spa 山中湖 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yamanakako, 13 km from Fuji-Q Highland. Nice sleeping tent, very comfortable. Great view of Mt Fuji. Love the private onsen (hot and cold), and sauna! As for dinner, the BBQ stuffs are in the fridge and we can cooked by ourselves anytime we want after check in

First Villa ligger i Yamanakako, 14 km fra Fuji-Q Highland, 18 km fra Kawaguchi-søen og 29 km fra Fuji-bjerget. Der er adgang til terrasse, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. very nice host, great location, very clean and new. The floor heating was good to keep the whole house warm. As we had kids, it would be even nicer if there was a basketball hoop or a little things for kids to play in the open space.

Offering lake views, つながるキャンプリゾートQOONEL is an accommodation located in Fujikawaguchiko, 5.2 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 7.5 km from Fuji-Q Highland. If you are travelling to Mount Fuji, this is a MUST STAY!!! Prior to arriving, my fiancé and I were feeling a bit hesitant as we did not have a car, and were unsure how we were going to access restaurants/ the main town. BUT, this was not an issue at all. If you are also concerned about this, please don’t be!!! We were collected from Kawaguchiko Station at 5pm on the day of our arrival. The staff were so accomodating and flexible to collect us despite 5pm being outside of their shuttle collection times. We really appreciated this. Each day, the staff operate a shuttle to the main town, leaving at 10am and then collecting you again at 3.30pm or 4.30pm to return to the campsite. We used this service on our full day at Mount Fuji and it was perfect. We didn’t feel like we needed a car at all. The staff at Kawaguchiko Station are so knowledgeable and helpful to support you to find your way around the main town. There is a free shuttle service to main parts of the town which we used to spend our day at a traditional Japanese onsen. We purchased breakfast at the campsite both mornings that we were there. It was delicious and I definitely recommend this as if you don’t bring your own food, you won’t be able to access food until you use the shuttle and get to the main town. We chose not to purchase the BBQ dinner as we thought this was quite pricey. Instead, we use the Cafe at the campsite to order some wood fire pizza’s. The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm. We pre-planned and ordered our pizza’s at about 5pm. We then kept these stored until we were ready for dinner and reheated them on the barbecue. Much cheaper and still delicious. So if you also don’t have a car, there is definitely still ways to access food with a bit of pre-planning. Our campsite was warm, cosy, clean and the view of Mt Fuji is breathtaking!!!! I don’t think you can find a more incredible view than at Qoonel!!!

This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed in Japan. It had gorgeous views of Fuji. The house was very large and easily fit our family of five. It had plenty of amenities (including a spa bath which we appreciated after many days of walking around). Would highly recommend.
