Det 2-stjerners Onsen Guest House Tsutaya ligger i Hakone, 7 km fra både Hakone Lalique-museet og Hakone botaniske hage for våtmark. Loved three onsen. The outdoor one was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from the room were amazing. We wanted to stay more days!!

47 km from Fuji-Q Highland in Hakone, Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. The owner Kobayashi san and the staff are all very friendly and helpful, everything is well maintained and clean, the common room is very chill and has great view of the beautiful garden. The use of onsen is by reservation so no need to worry that you'll have to share with other guests, which is good for solo traveler. The bed and duvet are comfortable in the dorm room, had a good sleep. Too bad I only get to stay for one night and didn't get the chance to try their meal neither. The only little downside is location, need to walk uphill a bit from bus stop 宮城野橋, but shouldn't be a problem. (They also offer free shuttle from guesthouse to Gora station in the morning). Overall I had a good stay, highly recommend!

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Staffs speaks very good english. The room is very big and it comes with mini SFC. Private onsen. Many retro toys to reminisce

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Such amazing and inspiring place. Professional staff, great facilities and totally deserved the money. Definitely will be my first option in hakone My room had path on the balcony it’s was perfect.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. The private onsen were extremely beautiful, the traditional japanese rooms with tatami mats were spacious and a great experience to stay at. We had a booked the plan with breakfast and dinner and the meals were absolutely exceptional abundant. The staff was also really friendly. All in all we had the most relaxing time and really fell in love with this place.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Beautiful hotel, bedrooms were so comfortable, terrific Onsen, staff were so friendly, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in 😄
