We arrived in the evening and the host greeted us with our room keys and walked us to our rooms to show us around. She was so kind and helpful! The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The location is great - close to the train station and a number of restaurants. We only had one night there and had to leave early in the morning but everyone in our group commented that they wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were also very comfy and no issues with hot water for the shower.

We had a nice stopover on the way to Italian seaside. It was great to rest in such a beautiful place. Top quality in every aspect. I might return there for a skiing trip.

Situated in San Nicolò di Comelico, in a historic building, 47 km from Sorapiss Lake, Agriturismo Botondoro is a farm stay with a bar and shared lounge. It was clear from the moment of our arrival at Boton d'Oro that we had chosen the right place for our Christmas holiday. Giovanni and the team were extremely hospitable and friendly; also during our stay, they checked multiple times whether everything was alright, or we needed something. We occupied three rooms in total, two double rooms with spa bath, and one superior double room. The two first ones were located in the same cottage, where our breakfast would also be served, and where we would spend time during the evenings by the chimney. The superior double room, was located a few meters further down a path, in a separate cottage. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very warm (a luxury nowadays even in expensive resorts). Every morning the very kind and polite lady (whose name unfortunately we forgot to ask) was greeting us and preparing our breakfast with attention and care. It is hard to not relax and immerse yourself in the peace of this place. The views from Boton d'Oro are stunning; the sun kisses the hill on which the property lies from early in the morning - one could easily spend the entire day admiring the surrounding peaks, or nights admiring the stars and the infinite sky. During our stay we dined several evenings in the restaurant of the farm, where we were utterly satisfied every single time. The politeness of the staff, the quality of the locally sourced ingredients, and the preparation of the dishes were all on point. Our holiday was truly magical, we will think fondly of it for a long time to come, and hopefully we will return there again someday!

Less than 100 metres from the Rosskopf ski slope, Steindl's B&B is a 5-minute walk from Vipiteno town centre. It boasts rooms with Sterzing Mountain and town views, and a buffet breakfast. It's a beautiful hotel to stay. We had our outside area. The rooms are big and have lots of space for clothes. I loved the variety of food at breakfast. We also visited a small sauna upstairs which had a nice outside area as well.

Park Chalet Village offers luxury wood and stone chalets with spa baths, sensory showers and South Tyrol Finnish saunas. Large and comfortable chalet with attentive and very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and the shuttle to the ski lifts was really appreciated

Pietre Gemelle Resort ligger i Riva Valdobbia, en 5-minutters kjøretur fra skiheisene, og tilbyr lyse og romslige leiligheter med utsikt over Monte Rosa. Beautiful location. You can have a gorgeous view of the snow capped Alps. The river flowing right beside the resort. Spa for 15€ is worth to take. Massage was also relaxing.

Situated in Pontebba, 49 km from Russian Chapel on the Vršič pass, Ostello Casa Morit features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The hostel has family rooms. The owner welcomed us so warmly and made us comfortable. The place is run in an environmental sustainable way which we like! The village of Pontebba is cute and just few minutes walk.

Situated in Alleghe and only 33 km from Pordoi Pass, SnowLake Suite & Apartment features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent apartment with very nice views, definitely would like to visit again in winter

Boasting mountain views, K2 home offers accommodation with a fitness centre, around 36 km from Benedictine Convent of Saint John. Laura was very helpful with everything, from lending me bikes to letting me stay after check out with my later train, very recommended stay and host!
