Situated within 3 km of Blarney Castle in Blarney, Maranatha Country House offers free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This place is up there with the best we’ve ever stayed. Not because it’s luxurious but because of its warmth. It’s a beautiful house on beautiful grounds with gorgeous rooms but what really makes it are the hosts. They all went out of their way to make us feel at home. Even bought our daughters presents as one of them had her birthday during our stay. We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed 2 weeks. Although the amazing breakfast every morning might have eventually finished us off. We’ll be back!!

We loved everything about the property. The location, the room , the breakfast …. And especially our hosts. They went well above and beyond our expectations. We arrived well after midnight and they were both there to greet us. They helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed as they knew we were tired. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. It was first class and top of our B & B stays. When we come back again we will definitely stay here and for longer. The location is fantastic with magnificent views over the rolling green landscape. This is a small castle. It’s charming and stunning at the same time. Loved the morning walk in the pristine surroundings. Old trees, rhododendrons, fields with grazing thoroughbreds. Very homeish feeling. Spacious rooms and real Irish breakfast (perfect fuel for the day’s hike). Wonderful staff, when you need something, otherwise we actually had the place for ourselves which was great. We bought our own drinks and food and could use the facilities in the kitchen and dining room. Don’t miss this gem❣️
