They also send us the code to the door so we can check in ourselves. Clean room, comfortable bed. And a wonderful not very expensive breakfast. The parking is on the street but there is no problem you can easily find a parking spot.

Just 50 metres from the beach and 1 km from Rethymno Town, Archipelagos Hotel is set on a hillside with panoramic views over the Cretan Sea and the Venetian Castle. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the old town (10 minutes). Many restaurants and shops in the surrounding. Room is clean, spacious, breathtaking view from the balcony over the sea and the old town. Very good and large bathroom. The room, the bathroom are both modern and comfortable, also the bed. Breakfast is delicious. There is lot of free parking near the hotel which is an added value if you want to rent a car. In front of the hotel, crossing the road, there is a cozy sand beach, crystal clear water, with a small bay where family can swim safely. We love it so much. Not to forget the friendly team in the hotel. Even the owner of the hotel (Mr.Stelios) was available and provided us with needed assistance and tips which made our stay superb. Definitely we will come again especially after finding out how beautiful Rethymno is.
