Incredidbly welcoming people too, Tati and Marisela (sorry if I’ve got those names slightly wrong 😂) are such lovely hosts. I recommend everyone to leave the world behind and come and stay here for at least a night or 2.

Located in Tortuguero, Limon region, Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero is set 400 metres from Tortuguero Beach. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

Apartamentos Caimán 3 is set in Tortuguero. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Tortuguero Beach is 400 metres away. Caiman 3 is a nice, clean little apartment. They also have larger ones, Caiman 1 and 2. Best of all was the owner Carlos and his son Steven, who were more than happy to show their guests around Tortuguero, arrange trips, and everything else one might need or be interested in; Carlos would help arrange it promptly! Highly recommend this place!

Casa kattleya is located in Tortuguero. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Tortuguero Beach is 60 metres away. Great location. Right near the supermarket. 1 min walk to the beach. Cafes 1 to 2 mins walk. It was clean and comfortable. Keeler, the owner, was very helpful with everything. He recommend cafes, tours and shops to visit. He was very quick with responding on whatsapp.

Wonderful stay! The room had a stunning view of the water, and the location was perfect—close to everything. Clean, cozy, and just as described. Highly recommend!

Situated 300 metres from Tortuguero Beach, Natural Experience House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The hosts, Oscar and Karen, were superbly welcoming and friendly. Our favourite stay in all of Costa Rica! Quiet clean rooms with comfortable beds, individual A/C in our room, private bathroom and good shower. Safe and private. Well-equipped kitchen and a delightful covered patio to relax. We spotted a variety of birds, iguana, and a far off monkey from there. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the boat dock, and the Tortuguero National Park. Oscar has his on boat with a quiet trolling motor, and he gave us an early morning boat tour of the National Park canals. He’s wonderful guide at spotting wildlife- many birds, spider monkeys, caiman, lizards.
